ADB raised India’s FY27 growth forecast to 7%
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) projected India's economy will grow 7% in FY27, up from 6.6%, driven by strong public investment and resilient services. This revision follows a 7.8% GDP growth in the June quarter, bolstered by robust demand and limited supply disruptions. The ADB highlighted risks from geopolitical uncertainty and El Nino but expects domestic demand to sustain growth momentum.
