Ageing Delhi colonies to get a chance to rebuild, grow under master plan 2047
The Delhi Development Authority proposed a regeneration plan under Master Plan for Delhi 2047, allowing old colonies to rebuild. Projects must cover at least 3,000 square metres and can receive up to 1.5 times the base Floor Area Ratio. Residents will need to collaborate for redevelopment, which aims to enhance living space and infrastructure, with new road plans required before starting.
