AI-designed “intrabodies” could unlock new treatments for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and MND
Researchers at the University of Essex developed AI-designed intrabodies that can target proteins linked to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and motor neurone disease. This breakthrough allows antibody fragments to function inside human cells, enhancing treatment possibilities. Following publication in Nature Communications, these molecules will be available to the scientific community for further research.
