AI model uses face photos to estimate biological age, predict survival risk in cancer patients
A new AI model, FAHR-Face, estimates biological age and predicts survival risk in cancer patients using facial photos. Trained on millions of images, it showed an average error of about five years. While initial results from the US and Netherlands are promising, further validation in diverse populations is necessary to confirm its effectiveness.
