'Allow me to leave hospital': Wangchuk issues appeal, seeks to join Parliament march
Sonam Wangchuk requested Safdarjung Hospital to allow him to leave temporarily to join the 'Sansad Chalo' march, stating his health is normal. He has been hospitalized since July 18 after being forcibly removed from a protest site, which he claims is illegal detention. Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike since June 28, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over examination irregularities and student suicides.
