Amit Shah dials family of cop killed in Anantnag terror attack, L-G says ‘courage etched in memory’
Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to the family of Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi, who was killed by militants in Anantnag on July 22 while on Amarnath Yatra duty. Qureshi, a resident of Budgam, was shot at point-blank range near Lalchowk and is survived by his wife and three children. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, also visited the family, expressing national pride in Qureshi's sacrifice and courage.
