Amrinder Singh Raja Warring out, why Congress chose Pargat Singh to lead Punjab unit
The Congress party appointed former hockey captain Pargat Singh as the new president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, replacing Amrinder Singh Raja Warring. This decision, made ahead of the Assembly elections, follows a factional struggle within the party, with Warring resigning and blaming AICC's Sachin Pilot for his removal. The leadership change aims to unify the party ahead of the elections.
