Andhra Pradesh set to pilot 3D-printed houses under PMAY-Gramin
Andhra Pradesh will pilot 3D-printed houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, starting with 100 homes in Burripalem village on October 4. The initiative, in collaboration with the Central Building Research Institute, aims to reduce construction costs and time, with single-bedroom houses completed in 45 to 60 days. This trial could set a precedent for future rural housing projects.
