Apple removes Bitchat app from India App Store 'after government order'
Apple removed the decentralised messaging app Bitchat from its India App Store following a directive from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology regarding illegal content. This marks the second removal of Bitchat, which had briefly returned to the store after a previous removal in July. Indian users can no longer download the app as a result of this action.
