Apple to change app data consent rules, German regulator says
Apple will modify its app data consent rules following a decision by Germany's Federal Cartel Office, which found its App Tracking Transparency framework favored its own apps over third-party developers. Apple has four months to implement changes, including redesigning consent pop-ups for third-party apps. These commitments will be monitored for seven years across the EU.
