At least eight dead, 15 hurt in Nagaland landslide
At least eight people died and 15 were injured in landslides in Mon district, Nagaland, caused by heavy rainfall and a cloudburst. The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority reported that multiple areas were cut off and communication networks disrupted. The state government announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹4 lakh for the families of the deceased and ₹74,000 for each injured individual.
