Bengaluru development body imposes curbs on revised building plans after OCs
The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has imposed new restrictions on approving revised building plans after occupancy certificates (OC) are issued, requiring consent from two-thirds of apartment owners for modifications. This decision follows a legal challenge by residents of HM Tambourine, who contested a modified sanction plan approved by the BDA in 2016 without proper consent. The circular aims to clarify the rights of flat owners and strengthen legal protections across Karnataka.
