Bezos-backed consortium takes stake in Liverpool
A consortium led by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has acquired a minority stake of about one-third in Liverpool FC for over £1.5 billion, valuing the club at over £5 billion. Fenway Sports Group, which retains majority ownership, announced that Amit Bhatia will serve as the new vice chairman. The investment aims to support Liverpool's ongoing success in the Premier League.
