Bhubaneswar civic body seeks reply from builder over high-rise building in airport funnel path
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has demanded an explanation from a real estate firm regarding a high-rise hotel project that exceeds the approved height limit, which poses a risk to flight paths at Biju Patnaik International Airport. The airport authorities issued a notice after an obstacle limitation survey revealed the building's height was raised from the permitted 87.37 meters to 98.9 meters. The BMC will decide on further action after receiving the realtor's response within three days.
