BJP wins six of seven mayoral polls in Rajasthan; Congress cries foul
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won six of seven mayoral elections in Rajasthan, defeating the Congress in Alwar, Udaipur, Pali, and Ajmer, while securing unopposed victories in Bharatpur and Bhilwara. Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra alleged coercive police action against party leaders. This outcome reflects BJP's dominance in local governance as the next elections approach.
