BMW M 1000 RS in the works for 2027
BMW is developing the M 1000 RS, a sport-touring motorcycle expected to launch in 2027, as confirmed by emissions filings with the US Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board. The M 1000 RS will likely share the same 999cc inline-four engine as the M 1000 RR, producing 205hp, but will be designed for sport-touring rather than pure racing. An official reveal is anticipated at the EICMA show in November, alongside other new models like the M 1300 GS and next-generation S 1000 RR.
