BRIC-RGCB researchers develop nanopore sensor for early Parkinson’s, ALS detection

Researchers at the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council-Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (BRIC-RGCB) developed a nanopore sensor for early detection of biomarkers related to Parkinson’s disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This technology can identify biomarkers at low concentrations, with potential applications for point-of-care devices. The findings were published in Nature Nanotechnology.
