Builder, partner booked for duping retiree of ₹12.58 crore over a decade in Pune
The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Pune police has filed a case against a builder and his partner for allegedly cheating an 80-year-old retiree of ₹12.58 crore over a decade. The complainant invested in a housing project launched in 2016 but received neither the six flats promised nor the three shops agreed upon in 2019. Despite repeated demands for possession or a refund, the builder and his partner failed to respond, prompting the retiree to seek legal action.
