Cabinet approves extension of PM-KISAN for 5 years
The Cabinet approved the extension of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme for five years, from 2026-27 to 2030-31. The initiative will have a total financial outlay of ₹3.15 lakh crore, emphasizing the government's commitment to farmers' prosperity. This extension aims to enhance income support for eligible farmer families through Direct Benefit Transfer.
