Cabinet approves hike in Rabi minimum support prices for 2027-28 season
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved a hike in Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for the 2027-28 Rabi season. The MSP for safflower rose by ₹675 to ₹7,215 per quintal, marking a 10.3% increase from last year. This decision aims to support farmers and ensure better returns for their produce in the upcoming season.
