Cabinet approves ₹1.86 lakh crore Green Energy Corridor to evacuate 135GW renewable energy
The Union Cabinet approved the 'Green Energy Corridor Phase-III' scheme on Wednesday, allocating ₹1.86 lakh crore. This initiative aims to enhance India's intra-state transmission system, facilitating the evacuation of up to 135 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy across States and Union Territories. The project is expected to significantly boost India's renewable energy capacity.
