Cabinet opens ₹2.79 lkh cr purse for wheat & wheels
The Union Cabinet approved a ₹2.79 lakh crore package on Wednesday, including new Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for six Rabi crops for the 2027-28 season. The largest allocation of ₹1.86 lakh crore is for the PM DHARA initiative, while ₹1,790 crore is designated for an Intelligent Traffic Management System in Delhi. These decisions aim to enhance agricultural support and urban infrastructure.
