Callers’ names must show on phones from Nov 1, telecom department orders operators
The Department of Telecommunications mandated that all Indian mobile operators implement Calling Name Presentation (CNAP) by November 1. This feature will display callers' names alongside their numbers for incoming calls from unsaved contacts, enhancing caller identification. Users with calling line identification restriction will not have their names shown, marking a significant change in mobile communication.
