Can Vaiko join hands with Vijay? Buzz gains ground as MDMK snaps DMK ties
Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) announced its withdrawal from the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance after nine years, a decision made unanimously by its General Council. This split, however, has led to internal dissent, with two MDMK MLAs refusing to resign and one MLA opting to remain with the DMK. The situation raises questions about potential future alliances, including speculation about MDMK leader Vaiko collaborating with actor Vijay.
