Car Retail Sales July 2026 – Maruti, Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai, Toyota, Kia, Skoda VW, BMW, Mercedes
Passenger vehicle retail sales in India surpassed 4 lakh units for the first time in July 2026, reaching 4,16,555 registrations, a 19.13% increase from July 2025. Maruti Suzuki led the market with 1,61,873 units sold, capturing a 38.86% market share, while Tata Motors and Mahindra followed with significant growth. Despite a slight decline of 1.68% from June 2026, overall automobile sales also hit a record high of 25,91,138 units, up 25.89% year-on-year.
