Centre to sell onions at ₹35/kg in Delhi from Thursday amid price surge
The Centre will sell onions at ₹35 per kg in Delhi starting Thursday to combat rising prices, which have reached ₹55-60 per kg. Union Food Minister Pralhad Joshi will inaugurate the sale, utilizing a buffer stock of 1.21 lakh tonnes. Following the initial sale in Delhi, the program will expand to the NCR region by the weekend.
