Chandigarh civic body turns C&D waste into over ₹50 lakh revenue in six months
The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation processed over 1,500 to 2,700 metric tonnes of construction and demolition waste from April to September, generating ₹50.5 lakh in revenue. The civic body, operating the facility without a private bidder, sells products made from this waste to government agencies amid rising construction material costs. A new tender for the plant's operation will be prepared soon.
