Chennai’s top 100 property tax defaulters owe GCC ₹31 crore
The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) revealed its top 100 property tax defaulters, who collectively owe ₹31.39 crore, as part of efforts to recover revenue amid financial challenges. The list includes various entities, with M/s IG3 Infra Limited leading with ₹4.87 crore in dues, followed by M/s Ceedeeyes Standard Towers Pvt. Ltd. at ₹2.30 crore. The top five defaulters account for nearly ₹11.73 crore, highlighting the scale of the issue affecting both commercial and charitable organizations.
