Chilling flydubai plan revealed by investigators
Hamam al-Hammami, the co-pilot of Flydubai Flight FZ1073, planned a terrorist attack to crash the aircraft into Ben Gurion Airport. He intended to incapacitate the captain and secure landing clearances before executing the crash, but his plan failed when the captain managed to unlock the cockpit, allowing passengers to intervene. Al-Hammami is currently detained in the UAE and under interrogation.
