CJP announces ‘mass hunger strike’ on July 16 as Sonam Wangchuk's health deteriorates at Jantar Mantar

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) announced a mass hunger strike on July 16 in solidarity with activist Sonam Wangchuk, whose health has deteriorated after 18 days of fasting at Jantar Mantar. Wangchuk is demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the NEET (UG) 2026 and other exams, despite calls for him to end his fast. The CJP has also unveiled a 'Five-Point Examination Reform Charter' aimed at improving India's public examination system.
