CJP warns of fresh protest if cases continue; Maharashtra, Bengal say ‘no coercive action’
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) warned of renewed protests if FIRs against student protesters are not withdrawn, following a Supreme Court order allowing the FIRs to remain. In response, Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis initiated the process to withdraw cases and instructed police to avoid coercive actions. This move follows similar withdrawals by Assam and Bihar, reflecting growing tensions surrounding the treatment of student protests across states.
