CJP's Das, Ranka withdraw plea against extended judicial custody as Delhi HC refuses to entertain petition
CJP co-conveners Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka withdrew their plea against extended judicial custody after the Delhi High Court declined to entertain it. The court suggested they wait for a scheduled reconsideration of their sureties by the SEM court. The duo has been in custody since October 14 for allegedly breaching barricades during a protest at Jantar Mantar.
