CM hands over key to first flat under PMAY-Urban in Ghaziabad
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over the first key of a flat built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY) in Ghaziabad, marking the first delivery since the scheme's 2015 announcement. The flat costs ₹6 lakh, with contributions from the Centre, state government, and beneficiaries, aimed at providing affordable housing for families with an annual income below ₹4 lakh. Following this event, the Ghaziabad Development Authority plans to expedite the delivery of additional units and has initiated 90 projects worth ₹868 crore, including a flyover to alleviate traffic congestion.
