CM health insurance coverage increased from ₹5 lakh to ₹25 lakh in Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay announced an increase in health insurance coverage under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme from ₹5 lakh to ₹25 lakh. The government will also construct a 400-bed multi-super-speciality hospital and allocate ₹673.44 crore for cancer care. These initiatives aim to ensure equitable medical treatment for all residents, regardless of income.
