Coaching hub Kota watches admission queues as NEET row rages on
Kota's annual admission season is underway, but uncertainty surrounding the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) controversy may deter repeat medical aspirants. Coaching institutes report that while some see little impact, others fear a drop in numbers, estimating around 70,000-80,000 students this year, down from 100,000 in previous years. Protests against the NEET paper leak continue in the national capital, adding to the anxiety in this key coaching hub.
