Commercial vessel attacked in Black Sea, Indian killed
An Indian seafarer was killed in an attack on the commercial vessel MV OMORFI while it was transiting Russian territorial waters in the Black Sea on July 18, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. This incident follows a previous attack on July 19, which resulted in the deaths of four Indians among ten casualties on the MV Golden Leo. The Indian government condemned the attack and expressed condolences to the victim's family, while confirming that the other two Indian crew members on board are safe.
