Committed to goal of J&K’s State restoration, its constitutional guarantees: Omar
Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirmed his government's commitment to restoring statehood and constitutional guarantees that were revoked in August 2019. He emphasized that residents of Pakistan-administered Kashmir would have sought to join Jammu and Kashmir had these guarantees not been removed.
