CPCL net profit more than triples to ₹2,271 crore in Q2
Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL) reported a net profit of ₹2,271 crore for Q2 FY2026-27, more than tripling from ₹732 crore a year earlier. The company's gross refining margin surged to $20.41 a barrel, contributing to a profit before tax of ₹3,032 crore, up from ₹994 crore in the same period last year. This growth reflects strong operational performance.
