Dabur moves Delhi HC against FSSAI ban on selling food products with '100 pc' claims
Dabur India filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for banning the sale of food products with '100 per cent' claims. The FSSAI's directive, which includes products like honey and cow ghee, was issued for allegedly misleading consumers, violating the FSS (Advertising & Claims) Regulations, 2018. Dabur argues that the order was unjustly issued without a prior notice and harms its brand image, as similar claims are used by other companies.
