Deep depression likely to hit Andhra-Odisha coast today, red alert in multiple districts
A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal is expected to hit the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast near Kalingapatnam today between 8.30 pm and 11.30 pm. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts winds reaching up to 75 kmph, along with rain and thunderstorms. Residents in multiple districts are advised to remain alert as conditions may worsen until September 24.
