Delhi civic body demolishes 14 unauthorised properties, seals one
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) demolished 14 unauthorized properties and sealed one as part of its crackdown on illegal construction. Since June 1, the MCD has taken action against 681 unauthorized properties and sealed 398 others, issuing 16 show-cause notices to property owners for violations. Officials emphasized the importance of obtaining necessary approvals before undertaking construction to avoid legal repercussions.
