Donation theft at Badrinath Dham: CCTV reveals how accused operated, even saffron wasn’t spared
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested Rajendra Chauhan, a permanent employee of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, in connection with a donation theft case at Badrinath Dham. The investigation, prompted by a complaint, previously led to the arrest of another accused, Pramod Nautiyal, on July 12. CCTV footage analysis revealed the operational methods of the accused, who allegedly stole cash and offerings, including saffron, collected through thali bhent.
