Education Secretary Vineet Joshi has been reassigned to the Ministry of Panchayati Raj amid ongoing scrutiny over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, which has sparked protests and disrupted Parliament. Naresh Pal Gangwar will take over as head of the Department of Higher Education, succeeding Vivek Bharadwaj, who is retiring on July 31. Other notable appointments include T.K.
