eMudhra to exit global SSL/TLS certificate business after controversy
Digital trust services provider eMudhra announced it will exit the global SSL/TLS certificate business after vulnerabilities were found in its certificates. The cybersecurity watchdog Cert-In reported that private keys associated with these certificates were compromised. eMudhra clarified that this incident does not affect its Indian Digital Signature Certificate and eSign businesses, which remain secure.
