EOW files chargesheet in ₹104 crore housing loan scam, arrests retired seed manager
The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) filed a 15,000-page chargesheet in a ₹104 crore housing loan scam, implicating former officials of the Adhunik Grih Nirman Cooperative Society. The case, which dates back to 2000, revealed that the accused fraudulently secured loans for non-existent beneficiaries using forged documents. Additionally, the EOW arrested Rajendra Singh Kshatriya, a retired seed manager, for disproportionate assets amounting to ₹5.28 crore beyond his known income.
