Five-member panel to probe illegal transfer of 356 property tax accounts in Indore
The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) formed a five-member committee to investigate the illegal transfer of 356 property tax accounts, which involved unauthorized changes using municipal officials' login credentials. IMC commissioner Kshitij Singhal stated that the panel includes IT experts and is led by additional commissioners of Revenue and IT Cell, following complaints about security vulnerabilities. All fraudulent transfers have been canceled, and criminal charges will be pursued based on the committee's findings.
