Flat registrations frozen; Nagpur civic body takes over NIT plan approvals
The Nagpur district administration suspended flat registrations as it begins verifying builders' compliance with infrastructure and safety requirements for occupancy certificates. Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced this decision during a District Planning Committee meeting, citing concerns over incomplete infrastructure in several apartment complexes. Additionally, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation will now handle building plan approvals for layouts developed by the Nagpur Improvement Trust, aiming to streamline the city's development approval process.
