Ford unveils $28,000 EV pickup ‘Fathom’
Ford Motor unveiled its upcoming electric pickup truck, named Fathom, with a starting price of approximately $28,000, aiming to provide an affordable option in a market dominated by expensive EVs. The model, set for a 2027 launch, represents a shift in Ford's EV strategy following a $19.5 billion writedown, which led to the cancellation of several pricier models.
