Fresh meniscus transplantation programme launched
Rathi Med Speciality Hospital in Chennai launched a meniscus allograft transplantation programme on Sunday, inaugurated by IIT-Madras Director V. Kamakoti and Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Darez Ahamed. The programme, licensed until December 2030, uses healthy menisci from patients undergoing knee replacements for those with irreparable damage. This initiative is part of the Chennai Knee Course 2026.
