From the Urdu Press: ‘Kejriwal and Mamata to Uddhav, Oppn must unite, hit the streets against defection politics’
Six Lok Sabha MPs from the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) defected to the Eknath Shinde-led faction, exacerbating the ongoing crisis within the Opposition. This trend of defections, which began with the Aam Aadmi Party, has raised concerns about the stability of democratic institutions in India, as highlighted by several Urdu dailies. The editorial from Siasat emphasizes the need for a united Opposition to combat these political shifts and calls for urgent measures to empower marginalized communities through education.
